Our translators of the Dutch language will not only take care of the translation correctness, but also the effectiveness of the text, its appropriate style and adaptation to the cultural context, both in terms of the language itself and the country.
Who speaks Dutch?
Dutch is also known as Flemish. It is a part of the group of the Germanic (Low German) languages constituting part of the Indo-European language family. It is used by approximately 27 million people. We may easily communicate in the Dutch language in the Netherlands and Belgium, where it has the status of the official language. It may be also used for communication in Suriname, Aruba and Antilles, which until the end of 2010 were called Netherlands Antilles – 5 islands in the Caribbean Sea, which were the Dutch autonomous territory.
History of the Dutch language
Dutch started to develop in the Middle Ages. First texts written in this language come from the 11th century. This language was created by separation from the dialects of the Low German language, which, in turn, comes from Old Saxon.
Dutch in business
Dutch will be useful for companies which plan their business expansion in the Benelux countries. Since outside this area, its usability is limited to several small territories, its knowledge has no greater impact on the quality of the business performance.
