We are looking for English–Ukrainian Linguists

We are growing our pool of linguists, and we invite both experienced and junior English–Ukrainian speakers to work with us.
If you enjoy using your language skills in real life situations and you want to work in an international environment, this may be a great fit.
Who we look for
We welcome candidates who:
• speak and write English and Ukrainian fluently
• stay flexible and open to different types of assignments
• feel comfortable adapting to new environments and schedules
• communicate clearly and confidently
• can work both indoors and outdoors when needed
• stay calm and effective in noisy or busy surroundings
• handle MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• treat information with full confidentiality
• show reliability, responsibility and a positive attitude
Polish counts as an extra asset, but we do not require it.
Important note about logistics
Some projects may require linguists to organize their own accommodation and local transportation. We look for people who handle such arrangements independently and feel comfortable working in various locations.
Your responsibilities
As a freelance linguist for Skrivanek you may:
• provide consecutive interpretation during meetings, trainings or briefings
• support communication between international teams and participants
• translate short written materials when needed
• prepare for assignments by learning basic terminology related to the topic
• cooperate with coordinators and other linguists to keep workflows smooth
• represent Skrivanek in a friendly and professional way
Who will enjoy this work
This role suits people who like variety, enjoy direct communication and want to develop their skills in a real world setting. Junior linguists who are motivated and open to learning are welcome.
