Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in DTP services
A relevant university degree
Working knowledge of the principles of pre-print preparation and the specific context of working in a translation agency
Timeliness and reliability in performing the assigned tasks
Knowledge and experience of working in software such as:

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Corel Draw
  • Adobe Page Maker
  • Adobe FrameMaker
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Quark Xpress
  • MS Office

An aspiring candidate should be a person who can achieve their goals, is independent and well-organised, can thoroughly and consistently complete tasks at hand, and is highly creative with a sense of aesthetic and an interest in computer graphic design.

LOCALISATION SPECIALIST

If you have:

  • experience working with CMS platforms
  • working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, XML, JavaScript
  • working knowledge of PHP, SQL or Oracle (an additional asset)
  • education or experience in fields related to IT, website development and/or localisation – students are welcome
  • experience in using tools for exporting website content (an additional asset)

and would like to:

  • gain experience in running localisation projects
  • work with a dynamic team in a friendly environment
  • actively participate in the analysis and valuation of projects
  • prepare files for translation and implement localised materials on the clients’ websites
  • test localised pages
